Corrections Policy

Bidaiatzen is written by one person and sustained by actual trips. Despite care, errors occur — miscalculated distances, outdated hours, wrong attributions. This page describes how they are handled.

How to report a correction

Email hola@bidaiatzen.com with:

  • Post URL or exact title.
  • Affected passage (sentence or paragraph).
  • Nature of the error (incorrect date, outdated fact, attribution, spelling, broken link, etc.).
  • Alternative source if you have one (not required).

Corrections are reviewed within 5 business days.

What is NOT a correction

  • Difference of opinion on whether a destination is worth it: debate is welcome; the published opinion is not modified unless the author changes it after a new visit.
  • Photography removal requests: if a recognisable person appears in an image and requests its removal, action is taken according to the privacy policy (see /privacy/).
  • Removal requests from third parties with commercial interests: rejected unless they provide a demonstrable legal basis.
